Certifications

Taranto Cruise Port has obtained ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications, international standards aimed at improving the internal organization in order to achieve company objectives and a more profitable positioning in the market.

ISO 9001:2015 is the internationally recognized standard for Quality Management aimed at increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of internal processes and improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

ISO 14001:2015 is the internationally recognized standard that defines an Environmental Management System as part of the company management system aimed at handling environmental aspects, meeting legislative compliance obligations, and addressing and evaluating risks and opportunities.

To implement its mission to promote Taranto and Puglia region as a cruise destination and to qualify the port as a green port, Taranto Cruise Port assumes:

towards its customers, intended as Cruise Lines and their passengers

  • to offer high quality services, in line with all current regulations and respecting the environment;

  • to monitor and improve its performance over time in terms of service quality, flexibility, adaptability, customer satisfaction;

  • to monitor and reduce the environmental impacts of its activities and those of its suppliers for all the aspects identified as relevant.

Towards the staff

  • constant attention and analysis of employee needs, as well as the development of their necessary skills, obtained through a meticulous planning of training. Furthermore, the Management aims to verify that the staff is always aware of their work and the relative effects in positive and negative on company processes.

Towards the territory

  • to promote it, spreading the knowledge of the historical-artistic-cultural and landscape beauties and encouraging the work of local companies, always with the utmost attention to carry out all activities with the minimum environmental impact.

The Management has allocated the funds and made available personnel and tools for the implementation of the Integrated Management System for Quality and Environment, which will be constantly monitored and periodically evaluated through the key performance indicators defined by the company to achieve the objectives set for each process, considering the expectations of the interested parties.
